Scrubs is the story of John Michael "J.D." Dorian (played by Zach Braff), a young intern turned attending physician and the rest of the staff at Sacred Heart, a teaching hospital. Between the crush J.D. develops on a fellow intern named Elliot, the various personal and professional trials and tribulations of the medical staff, the custodian who tries to make J.D.'s life hell, and the sheer number of patients dealt with daily, there's never a dull moment at Sacred Heart Hospital. Narrated by Braff's character, the series is a funny, dramatic, and sometimes absurd portrayal of people living their lives working in the medical field
